W2C proud partner of the 1st Symposium of Importing and Exporting Manufacturers

On January 17, 2019, the first Symposium of Importing and Exporting Manufacturers took place; it was organized by the Engram Group. The theme of the symposium was “International trade in the era of protectionism: how to make the most of it?” Several experts met to offer a multitude of workshops and conferences on various topics related to international trade.

W2C is proud to have contributed to this event as a financial partner. In addition, Steve Langlois, President of W2C, presented a workshop on customs classification under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement, or CUSMA. 

During this workshop, he was able to sensitize the manufacturers to the importance of properly classifying their products in order to apply the regulations of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and CUSMA. This is valuable advice for any company that wants to gain a competitive advantage and avoid financial losses.
